Stuck in a void
- Trying to buy crypto; Plaid is the bank interface.
- Bank says the issue is with Plaid, not their end.
- No way to contact Plaid; cannot purchase crypto.
I have been trying to buy cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, they all use Plaid as an interface to my bank.
The connection to my bank seems like it is going through, but it stops at that point. I've talked to my bank several times and they say the issue is not on their end, it is with Plaid. However, there is no way to communicate with Plaid so I'm stuck in this situation and cannot purchase my cryptocurrency. I wish these crypto interfaces would provide an alternative to Plaid so I can actually get something that works.
There is no contact number or email for Plaid. Dealing with them is worse than dealing with the government and we're stuck using their services.
- Supposed to be secure and easy
- Crypto interfaces use plaid exclusively for find transfers for purchases

- Not all phone lines support SMS messages.
- The reviewer requests SMS messages be sent by email or voice-type SMS.
Not all phone lines put sms messages thru. How can this company be so closed minded people that you do not have the voice sms message option or the email sms option.

- No human customer service is available and the AI chat is unhelpful.
- Connecting all accounts instead of a specific one raises privacy concerns.
I feel like Plaid is hiding something. There is no way to get customer service from a human and that is complete BS.
If you have multiple accounts, there is no way to connect a specific account at a bank to plaid, you have to connect them all which is WAY less secure than just connecting the one you want to connect. In some cases it may also be a violation of your privacy. Plaid's FAQ says to contact support to delete info, but there is no way to delete a specific account at a bank, only the entire connection. In fact there is only the *** AI chat monster to deal with & they have no clue what you're talking about.
I think it's headed for another class action... just my guess.

Verified ReviewerI don't believe what they are asking us to give them is even legal. requiring tax returns and a years worth of bank statements just to connect us is totally wrong!

When trying to connect my bank to Plaid they demanded that i give them access to my tax returns, all my accounts, and 12 months of bank statements and a lot more. i believe this is illegal.
asking about so much personal information is disgusting.
i want to know why this is allowed. who can fix it and when

It takes way,way, too long for them to transfer money,and whatever you do, don't try sending money from Friday through Tuesday, you may receive it by Wednesday.Very pissed!!
Tried to transfer money from my account on the 4th of May and it still not in my account 7days latter, completely senseless, customer service is a complete joke.

still getting messages from atlas saying that it is my fault that plaid wont send varification codes to my phone number.over 50 messages and all of their responses saying it is my fault or its my bank. yet the stage where i am being shut out on has progressed to that point *** is all atlas and plaid.
plaid will not send a verification code to my phone number. therefore i cant connect where i am supposed to.
i just spent over 6 hrs attempting to get them to help me.
i was finally sent a message stating that its my bank. cant be my bank. i am attempting to get into plaid. no where near my bank yet.
and then they wanted to charge me to talk to an AI expert. wtf
i am pissed. super pissed.
no one has any accountability. and its messing me up with things that i want and need to do..

Account transfer issues
Right now I am currently *** off. I have placed 3 separate transactions through played via coinbase.
From capital one and transactions are going through coinbase and Capital One show my accounts linked but coinbase is not receiving.
I would appreciate a phone call back at 630890****. You can associate my file to that phone number.And I am expecting immediate answer to this

This app drops the 3rd party connection between two entities for unknown reasons. We have tested both sides to determine the issue and it comes back to Plaid. Try contacting a human for support and get an AI system that throws you to FAQ.

Send me a code for a any business, I don't know why you continue to to send it to a fraudulent account. Are you making money using fraudulently on my account.
